Exploring fashion, beauty, skincare, hair, self-care, creativity and life with chronic illness, Rogue Muse brings together striking imagery, honest storytelling and unapologetic individuality. It is a space where glamour and vulnerability can exist together—and where beauty is never limited to one body, background or experience.
We believe a muse should not simply inspire someone else’s vision. She should be the creator of her own.
Our Mission
Rogue Muse was created to celebrate emerging talent, overlooked perspectives and the people shaping culture outside traditional industry expectations.
Through editorials, interviews, personal essays, beauty features and weekly blog posts, we aim to showcase creativity in all its forms while opening the door for models, photographers, writers, stylists, makeup artists and other creatives to have their work seen.
Our mission is to create something visually beautiful without losing honesty, depth or meaning.
Fashion Without Permission
Rogue Muse is inspired by the elegance of traditional fashion publishing, but it is not interested in following every traditional rule.
We want to challenge narrow ideas of who gets to be fashionable, successful, desirable or worthy of being seen. Our pages make space for individuality, disability, chronic illness, ambition, softness, confidence and imperfection.
You do not need permission to take up space. You do not need to wait to be chosen. You can become your own muse.
Rogue Muse was founded by Sophie Stopp, a writer, editor, model and creative based in East London.
After developing a love for fashion through modelling, writing and editorial design, Sophie created Rogue Muse as the publication she wanted to see: sophisticated but accessible, aspirational but honest, and unafraid to represent the realities that often exist behind a polished image.
Living with chronic illness has shaped her relationship with fashion, creativity and ambition. Rather than allowing those experiences to remove her from the industry she loves, she created her own space within it.
Rogue Muse is for anyone who has ever felt underestimated, overlooked or told that their dreams were unrealistic.
This is more than a magazine. This is a space to be seen.
A Letter From the Founder
Rogue Muse started with a simple idea: if the space I wanted didn’t exist yet, I would create it.
As a writer, model and lifelong lover of fashion, I wanted to build something that felt bold, beautiful and a little rebellious — a place where creativity, confidence and real stories could exist side by side.
Rogue Muse is for the dreamers, the rule-breakers and anyone ready to become their own muse.
